Les sirènes

Les Sirènes is an acrylic painting split into three parts, it evokes the theme of lust and temptation presented in different ways. I was inspired by the myth of Odyssey from Greek mythology, and used the symbolism of sirens, a piece of symbolism I included in my artwork. I chose acrylic paint because it is a medium I'm comfortable with, however I also used acrylic markers, which was part of my experimentation, to add Basquiat inspired doodles on the outer edges of my painting.
